Purple Eagle helps communities participate, collaborate, and develop practical solutions. Purple Eagle Generation Next (PEGN) extends that mission to the students who will become tomorrow’s citizens, leaders, educators, innovators, volunteers, and community builders. 

It is not simply a children’s version of Purple Eagle.  PEGN is a purpose-built learning and participation environment designed to help young people develop confidence, curiosity, empathy, responsibility, and the ability to work with people whose experiences may be different from their own. 

Its purpose is not to tell students what to think, 

Its to help them learn  how to think, how to listen, how to participate, and how to lead with respect.
