PEGN is being designed around the connected roles of students, families, and educators.
Each audience would experience the platform differently, but all three help create a safer, more meaningful learning environment.

PEGN could give students age-appropriate ways to explore ideas, ask questions, learn from different perspectives, participate in structured activities, work with others, and build confidence.
PEGN is being designed primarily for students in grades 3–12, with learning experiences, activities, language, and participation structured for different ages and developmental levels.
PEGN will not use a one-size-fits-all approach. Planned experiences would be adapted so younger students receive more guided, foundational activities while older students can engage with increasingly complex ideas, collaboration, communication, and leadership opportunities.

Families should be able to understand what PEGN is, what students are being asked to do, how participation is structured, and what
safeguards are being considered. Future family resources could include participation guidance, conversation starters, activity information, safety and privacy explanations, and ways to ask questions or provide feedback.

PEGN is intended to support teachers, school leaders, homeschool educators, youth-program leaders, and educational organizations with structured learning and participation experiences.
Future resources could include discussion guides, lesson and activity materials, collaborative projects, Connected Classrooms opportunities, pilot participation, and ways for educators to help improve the experience through feedback.
The key to a positive, prosperous future is helping our youth understand and respect the diversity that makes our country strong. PEGN is intended to work best when those roles reinforce one another. PEGN could provide the pathway for this process.
